Light turns visions into reality -
at the IT University/Concert Hall restad Nord, Copenhagen

The modern appearance of the IT University/Concert Hall of Copenhagen with its contrasting styles will add a new dimension to the themes of the second day.
The new Concert Hall Orestad Nord is surely one of the most prominent examples of contemporary architecture. Thomas Drejer and Stefan Zopp will jointly present their work on the project, addressing the challenges they encountered and the approaches they applied to integrate state-of-the-art lighting into the sophisticated architectural structure.
The ensuing presentations will all look into the interrelation of architecture and light but coming from different angles: from innovative lighting systems to faade lighting, designing with daylight and artificial light, and the effects of light on human beings. The diverse programme documents the broad spectrum of todays challenges and at the same time offers solutions and identifies potentials and prospects. M. Goetzeler will build on this in his speech, concluding the event with a vision and images of the future of lighting. Attendees will return home with a suitcase full of inspiration!
